It's 28 years old; if a car is over 25, it passes the import laws. You're good to go.

Yeah but it just doesnt seem legit. 6500 for this car? I thought these things went for WAY more in europe let alone imported to the US

idk, I don't follow the mercedes market too much. You could always run a vin check.

I follow the 19e cossie market in the US pretty routinely, and something's up here. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago, this would seem totally reasonable. Nowadays, anyone with a cossie (even if its an Auto or had over 150k miles) wants at least 8 as long as its running.

Thats why I am surprised. I really thought they went for way more than this. It looks great! but idk... for example.. isnt the cossy spoiler much bigger? (i know it could be switch but yeah) i just dont know. I mean he lives real close to me but I doubt i would buy it so im not going to waste my time bugging him about details.

Think you might be thinking of the Mercedes 190e Cosworth EVO II( pictured) with the big wing. THOSE were super super rare, and not sold here.
The 190e Cosworths (2.3 16v) are fairly common here in the US, as they did sell a few here. I currently have 4 just on my surrounding craigslist, but two are autos, one's a steaming pile of dump, and one is $12k with 98k miles. So it's a waiting game, I guess.
The biggest regret of my short car-owning time: Three years ago, I was 13 and looking for my first car, which I had already decided would be a 190e Cosworth. I found one near me, clean, stick, all records, and 64k miles, BIN for $5500. My parents wouldn't even let me go look at it. To this day, my dad still gets pissed every time he sees how much they're worth now, and I just say "I told you so."

Looks a little TOO modded for my taste, but it looks sort of legit. The headlights are the Euro- full glass type. Looks like it has a stick, so I guess it's legit.

There's a reason it's cheaper than it should be, so go take a look and find out what's wrong with it. Go to a forum and get a list of things you should check for, then take a mechanic if it looks good. If you're willing to fix some of the things that are wrong with it yourself, then you can save a little bit of money and it's worth picking up.

Seems very odd: certainly has had a paint-job as this is no original 2.3 16v colour. Mounted E400 springs (why?), aftermarket injection (again: why???) comes with the car. Body-kit seems original but missing parts in front bumper. Interiour seems original (seetings, 3 extra dials in center console) but pictures are not of quality one can decide if it really is. It's probably cheap because many many not-original Mercedes Benz 'options' (if it's an original 2.3 16v after all)...
